Tropical Beefy Biltong Trail Mix

Paleo/Grain Free/Dairy Free/High Protein/Egg Free


Snack/Dessert/Salad topping


Serves - 2- 4 servings

Preparation Time - 5 minutes

Cooking Time - 15 minutes



Ingredients


  • 2 packets of Stript Snacks Biltong...Red Chili or Cracked Black Pepper, depending on your own preference
  • 30g (¼ cup) raw cashew nuts
  • 30g (¼ cup) raw unsalted pistachios
  • 40g (½ cup) unsweetened coconut flaked
  • 60g (⅓ cup) dried unsweetened mango
  • Optiona:l 1 tbsp (20g) raw honey
  • ¼ tsp Pink Himalayan Rock Salt

Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
  2. Mix together cashew nuts, pistachios and honey if using. Place in the oven and roast for 10 minutes. Remove and toss with coconut. Return to the oven for 3-5 minutes more.
  3. Remove and mix together all ingredients. Leave to cool on the tray. Once it has cooled fully store in a seal tight container for up to 4 days. You can keep the nut and fruit mix for up to two weeks and simply add in the biltong when ready to serve!
